Hi. I have a radio station over the internet that sounds really good at 32kbps, 22khz WMA. I use Winamp for the playlist and SAM Encoders for the encoding of the MP3's. Well, I would like to use 32kbps, 32khz but there are just a little too many artifacts for my taste. Can I use a Winamp plugin or EQ preset to make the 32khz sound better with less noticable artifacts?
Thanks.

EQing wont do it, unless you lowpass at like 400hz (and with WMA, even that will probably not be transparent).

you could look at HE AAC though - much much more advanced than WMA.

i like the lowapss idea though. i want WMA cause of campatibility. So, is there a plugin for lowpassing music in Winamp?
