Maybee a Stupid Q - Possible to only recode Extra´s

Hi

So many cool things are happining to the DVDrebuilder software now.
its hard to stay current Guess I missed a couple of releases travelling

And I was wondering if its now possible to set some value in the ini file so only menu & Extras is encoded and the movie stays 100% I have alot of these movies!

not a stupid question, but an often asked question. do a search

(but as a quick answer, it is in the works to apply different encoders to different sections, including (no copmpression)

AFAIK, you can do a prepare and before clicking Encode (or Rebuild), change the Encode_Progress in the REBUILDER.INF file (in the D2VAVS working folder) to reflect the start of the extras (eg your movie took up the first 20 segments, then start at Encode_Progress=21).

Hmm will that also mean that it will recalculate the space...So it still fits the specifyed size for a single layer disc?`

v1.08 will do it automatically. If the reduction in extras and/or audio removal is enough to keep the original intact, it will extract the M2V files instead of reencoding them and rebuild using the unmodified originals.
