Hello, hope this is the right place to Post.

I've got a JVC miniDV Camcorder, which has no native support to work as a "Webcam" (at least, I couldn't find any drivers or stuff). Exact Model Number would be GR-D245E.

Well, so I ran extensive searches and came up with a few programs which could help me. Apart from that MSN Messenger has built in Support for Camcorders, this wouldn't work for other applications (like Net Meeting). So i tried out dvdriver, which basically works great, but missed an important feature, which on the other hand, webcamdv would have, but I couldn't get it to work properly.

The point is, I not only want to have the video taken from the Camcorder, but also the Audio! WebcamDv has the Feature (after installation I can set WDM Audio as Capture Device in Audio Properties, but it will only work when the Video Driver is loaded as well). And here comes the tricky stuff: WebcamDV is the ONLY (!) utility I used which would mess video completely up. It's just useless and there is no apparent way to get it better.

Since I could use either dvdriver or TrackerCam (which is for free!) to get the video into Netmeeting or other Applications, I found none to do the same with the Audio. Is there ANY "capture audio from camcorder microphone wdm driver" out there apart from the webcamdv one, which I can't use?

Help would be very much appreciated,

best regards, cmw

Yes. I have the same problem. No audio-DV to Audio-WDM bridge software or driver available which really works. ATM I only can hang a microphone to line-in or microphone jack on the soundcard to work. For the video signal MSN Messenger can use Video-DV to Video-WDM inbuilt driver and it works.
If anyone could help us it will be great!
