Improving quality Old B+W Movies - 3 Stooges

This is pretty specific to all the three stooges shorts, so basicaly from 1934 to 1959

I want to try and improve the final quality before I transfer them to DVD for my own collection as accquired from sources with no logos

Due to their obvious age there are in dire need of some improvement, mainly in my view cleaning up of any dust and scratches and possibly try to apply some sharpening

Any suggestions to what filters might be better for this. Time is no real issue


I was thinking about using the RemoveGrain() filters with the denoise and sharpening options as they are really just very old movie shorts in not too bad a quality considering there age, instead of using multiple filter chains or a script that will slow things down even more
