I have used Dvfab to copy Ledgends of Zorro to the HD. When I tried to copy it back to a DVD the credits run but the main movie wont play. I also used DVDD to copy Flightplan to my HD and DVDShrink wold not work with the files. I got a invalid data error.
Now what is reallly strange is that while the movies are on my HD I can play the movie using any DVD viewer program, but cannot copy them to a DVD using Nero, Rrecord Now or other DVD recorders, when I transfer the video and audio folders to the DVD burn programs then get messed up on the playback of the dvd.

Anyone tell me why they will play on my HD but not on a burned DVD????

Hi!

You've previously posted regarding both of these DVD titles. Re-read the answers in that thread at:

Thanks for the reply but I only posted the Ledgends of Zorro issue. I have read the responses but they did not answer my main questions.

If it plays off my hard drive why can't I burn those files to a DVD and play it off the DVD?

If it plays off my hard drive why can't I burn those files to a DVD and play it off the DVD?Are you playing "As DVD" from your harddrive, or simply playing the individual .VOBs?Thanks for the reply but I only posted the Ledgends of Zorro issueThe thread provides information as to how to successfully deal with BOTH "Flight Plan" and "Legend of Zorro"

If I go to the Video folder and click on video_ts.ifo the movie will launch a dvd player and run sucessfully. If I take those files and try to burn the Video and Audio folders to a dvd they will lock up and cause my DVD player to stop.

This is true with both flight plan and Ledgens of Zorro.
I used DVDFAB for Zorro and it removed the ARCOS and compressed the files to fit on a 4.7gb dvd.
I used DVDD for flight plan.

Maybe I am missing something about trying to copy the files to a dvd. DVDS will not toucht either folders it gives me a i/o error, invalid data with both movies.

The audio file is a file that always get copied but it is always empty. Your correct just the video file will play fine, but only off my HD.
