I've got a DVD where I've stripped out the DTS audio, but then I'm left with the DTS distribution trailer: the short clip with the piano strings. Except now this little section has no sound. Can I retain sound for just this section? Or can I strip out this small segment of video?

The audio removal selection is done on a "per VTS" basis.

Yes you can.
Open RB.ini and copy
vts_min_size=1
under Options.
Afterwards you should be able to blank the VTS in Video Segment Editor.

If the audio is being stripped then the segment must be located in a VTS that is already being processed, otherwise it would be copied 1:1. Therefor, it should already be in the segment editor (which is only in the Pro version btw) and there is no need to adjust VTS_min_size.

That segment probably only takes a few MB with just the video, so if you don't want to be bothered to redo it with DVD-RB to get rid of it then you can use PCGEdit to "Kill playback" of the title in your current DVD-RB output.

I wasn't sure about that thinking of "Remove all dts audio" as I haven't checked this option.

Ok, my mistake. I was relaying information from somebody else. It is at the WB logo segment, where there's a short piano melody, that is missing sound. My DVD software player says this part is DD and not DTS, so this probably has nothing to do with DTS anymore. But I'm still unsure why this audio is missing. There are a few unreferenced audio streams which are off by default, and a French stream which I also turned off.

I should mention this is the freeware 0.96 version, though I didn't spot anything in the change log that might explain this.
