Ive just got myself a Freecom DVB-T Freeview stick and im finding the inbuilt software really crappy and limiting. Freecom doesnt have the BDA drivers yet that would enable me to install my Windows Media Center Edition so until then i need alternative software.
Does anyone have any ideas?

many of these pen-sized USB dvb recievers are clones of the same device made by WideView Ltd. You could try using the BDA drivers from Yakumo: http://www.yakumo.com/service/?pid=555&aid=257&ag=23&back=1
Uninstall any existing drivers first, you may also want to plug the device into a different usb port.

I'm not sure about you hardware situation, but you might want to check out http://www.dvbviewer.com/en/index.php looks pretty good.

I am in the same boat as you mate. The yakumo drivers currently on the site are not a compatible as the older ones. I am trying to track all of these down and will host when I can.
hama also do a similar product with bda drivers
