I use dvd shrink to first shrink my dvds which should then have no problem being burned, however lately I go to burn using decrypter and I get a message saying the sector size is to large. Can someone please tell me what this means and why won't it fit onto a dvd?:(

Hi!

Did the DVD Shrink size bar (near the top of the DVD Shrink window) show any RED when you selected "Backup!"? If so, you haven't compressed the DVD sufficiently...

No, see thats what I don't get. It usually shows green which confuses me. If it's green I should be good to go but for whatever reason the decrypter says it's to large in sector size. And actually the bar has never been red. ????

In DVD Shrink's "Preferences" make certain that it's set for "DVD-5" and NOT "DVD-9"...

If Setarip_old's suggestion does not work, I would try the program ImgBurn, rather than DVD Decrypter, because ImgBurn is still being developed, whereas the decrypter is not. Both programs were written by the same individual, in fact.

You can get ImgBurn here (http://www.imgburn.com/).

If you still have a problem burning, you can post in the DVD Burning section of the forum.
