How to change the subtitles colors?

Somebody can help me, please?!?!?! I want to change the color of my subtitles (are in black, and I want them in white)…. How I do that, with the IfoEdit?? Please…Help Me!!:(

DVDSubEdit changes the color assignments in the color lookup table, not the color themselves!
If you want to edit the colors, forget IfoEdit. It's a lot easier to edit them with PgcEdit. Just double click on the PGC you want to change to open the PGC Editor, and edit the color lookup table. Save and test.
DVDSubEdit is useful to examine which colors in the table are used.

I agree that PgcEdit makes it very easy to change the colours. However, it uses RGB values instead of Y Cr CB colours codes. AFAIK (and please correct me if I'm wrong) it's not possible to convert RGB values to exact Y Cr CB codes and thus the colours may change slightly during the conversion.

IfoEdit uses the Y Cr CB codes. And so does SupRemap by Gandalf.

lost__prophet, with IfoEdit you can edit the CLUT (colour lookup table) for the main movie by loading the IFO in question and selecting the VTS_PGC with the main movie. The colours start at offset (address) 000000a5. You can edit the colours manually, or you can use the copy/paste function in the "Subtitle Color" menu in the top menu line.

With SupRemap you can change the assignment of the colours used for bitmap subtitles. Kinda like DVDSubEdit, but in a SUP file only, not directly in VOBs. You can also load an IFO file and type in new Y Cr CB colour codes and save the IFO again...

What's the problem with editing the colors in RGB? The conversion is accurate. I have tested it and was unable to note any difference after several conversions. (Of course, I have compared the values, not the color as it is shown.)
And even if there is a minimal change, the user will never be able to notice it! The difference will be less than 1/200 in one of the components!
And don't forget that we are speaking of subpics. A unnoticeable color change doesn't matter anyway.
I'm sure there is 1000 times this difference on most TVs, especially in the NTSC land, just because a TV is not equal to another one.

My problem consist, that when a do a DVD menu, my program (DVDStyler) change the subtitles colors to black:angry: What program to do that, do you use??? :confused: I have tried the advice that you give me, but in the .ifo don’t exist the VTS_PGC but exist the VMG_PGCI. :P What I do??:(
