View Full Version : Half-D1 not working in 1.07?

I tried the Half-D1/Half Space for Extras setting for "40 Year Old Virgin"
NTSC and it seems it did not resize the extras and the quality of the
extras still looks almost too good to have been Half Space.

Can anybody else confirm if this feature is working or not?

Thanks,
puddy

hehe.. sometimes 1/2 d1 can look pretty good. drop the vob file for the extra into dgindex and hit f5. it will tell you the resolution.

i ran 1.07 with half-d1 extras option and they were halfd1 as requested

Also I noticed that sometimes , when you had it checked before opening RB (for example because you've just used it in the last project) , Rebuilder doesn't take it into account. Just un-check and re-check. Check also one of the .AVS in your d2vavs folder (one of the to-be-reduced ones of course).

DVD-RB will not carry Half-D1 settings over from one project to another -- you have to set it if you want it (Half/Half is different). That is purposeful because it is so easy to forget and can waste a lot of time. It's also a problem because the VTS count/numbers most likely will change between projects. The settings are set, however, if loaded from a saved project file (e.g. when using batch mode).

The point is that it remains ticked , also if not active. It may confuse more than one of us. Another thing is that the log never shows the state of it. I got to check for it every time. Is there anyone experiencing that ?

Ahh... that wasn't clear to me. I fixed it.
