Problem Getting Key File 1.07

Just trying to update one of my machines to 1.07 and everything seems to work fine on install except it won't get the key file. Ist there a server issue at key.dvd-rb.com?

Good job I only try one machine at a time... at least my other one is still ok with 1.06

Sorry. I woke up this morning to a crashed registration server. It was down for 3 hours. It's back up now.

Another key file question. I realized after running RB 1.07 that it generates a new key file with a different number than before. Is this normal and can I just delete the old one? I didn't change anything with my machine thus computer ID should be the same.

I changed the SYSTEM ID generator in v1.05.1 because the original was too volatile. But I put in some code to continue to allow the old (legacy) SYSTEM ID to work. I removed that in v1.07 because it had no use any more (I forgot to do it in v1.06). So if you were still working off of the legacy ID it would have appeared to change in v1.07.

It really doesn't matter if it changes, though, because the key counter gets reset to zero with every version release anyway...
