I have had no problems with this before. However I have a captured TV show in .ts format in 30 files. I've tried to join them in HDTV2MPEG(various versions). In the most recent version it tells me I must check a channel, but the box for doing so is grayed out. In older versions, it allows me to join the files, but only sees the episode as being 15 minutes long(when its 40-something) and upon playback there are serious visual artifacts and the audio is garbled. I didn't have any of these problems prior to joining the segments. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you sure that all the transport files are using the same transport PIDs for all the streams?

As long as they're numbered correctly, you can run the first one through mpeg2repair and it will ask you if you want to continue with the other ones automatically. Mpeg2Repair will remap all of the PIDs to 11 and 14. As neuron2 wrote, it is probably PID issues.

Will try. Thanks

Post a link to the file that MPEG2Repair claims is not an MPEG transport stream.

I think I'm just at a dead end at this point... The only host I have access to that I could upload such a large file to is down right now. Plus it will take me a while to upload nearly 100mb. Appreciate the help though.
