100% cpu usage with DVD Shrink 3.2?

Today while using DVD Shrink 3.2 I noticed that cpu usage was pegging at 100%, is this normal? I've used DVD Shrink a lot but never noticed this happening until today. Checked Processes running and Shrink was the culprit.
My system:
Intel 3.2 ghz proc
MSI 925X mobo
1 gig RAM
3x Seagate 200 gig SATA HD

When you've select "Backup!", click on the "Options" tab and place a checkmark next to "Run backup in low priority mode"...

I have DVD Shrink set in low priority mode and my pc still shows to be running at 100%. Granted I have a little slower system with a AMD 2800, but I don't think that it would make much difference.

Could it be that Shrink takes up all of the cpu unless you're running another program or application??

I thought you were concerned because it wasn't allowing you to run any other apps at the same time...

That's how all applications set to low priority will act. If other processes are running with a higher priority they will be delegated less cpu usage and if there is nothing else running they will use as much as they need. Nothing unique to DVD Shrink in this aspect.

Ditto, here. Hammers the CPU at about 100% usage, even in low priority mode.
