I opened DVD-RB and forgot that the Destination folder which i used the last time i used RB was no longer there, i Prepared my project, then Encoded it all night long, when i came to the Rebuild part, RB gave me run time error 72 (if i remember right) and crashed (i didn't save my project).

Using RB 1.06.. isn't there a way to fix it, to let RB know that there are files in its Work Path? if only i could have make RB understand that it already did the encoding part and all i need now is to rebuild...

Set your destination folder, switch to 3-Click mode and hit Rebuild.

But it will Encode all over again wouldn't it?

No, RB knows that all parts are already encoded (it's all stored in the working folder) so there should be no problems.

Wow ok, that i didn't know, thanks.

Maybe a good idea to fix that in the next version of RB, if a folder doesn't exists, let RB make it or tell the user that this folder doesn't exists, instead of crashing.

It does... I'll have to see what happened in your case.

I just clicked on OK when the error message poped up, im pretty sure it was error 72 (but i dont remember the rest of the message itself).

Using Windows XP X64
P4 640
512x2 DDR 400Mhz
Seagate 120GB+WD 80GB SATA

I will try to re-create the same situation that caused the error message to appear after im done using RB.

im pretty sure it was error 72
No, it isn't. ;)

It's runtime error '76': Path not found

It happens only if you check "enable output directory", set it to an existing path and delete that path afterwards.
And IMHO the error message is enough warning. ;)

Yup its enough warning, the problem is that RB crashes right after displaying that warning.

But I gave you the workaround already. ;)
Reopen RB, point it to an existing path, do not delete it afterwards (sorry couldn't resist :D), hit rebuild and you're done.
