why when i check the file information on the pc that i use avi.net it comes up and says xvid codec used but when i copy and paste it onto another pc it says ffdshow.

Because you don't have XviD installed on the other computer or you set ffdshow to decode xvid there.

ok just built a dual core 64 bit system and let me tell you avi.net flies when using divx 6 codec.....averages 115fps...cut my time from 2hrs down to 45 mins....if the author/owner of avi.net would like to use my old 64 bit sempron cpu and mobo i would be happy to send.

@iNFO-DVD, can u add a feature to avi.NET where we could select the Intro & Credits & encode them in lower quality.

want to email me your shipping info...i look forward to 64 bit support..also when using the new divx codec why when under file information does it not show the resolution and says divx 5 codec instead of 6.1

now i seem to get errors when using divx codec....

seems this happens when i select the file size to be set at max in the options

after a fresh install seems theres something wrong with avi.net under the info line it tells me 29.997 shouldnt it read 23.97 when i use my office pc to do conversions it shows up as 23.97 and the file works here at home when it shows 29.97 i get an error from divx player software.what do i need to look for. any help please.

.divx output is .avi output... just rename it. Unless you're talking about menus and stuff.

at the moment avi.net only allows burned in subs, if Info-dvd was able to integrate Xsubs instead of "burned in" , that would be great.

Avi doesnt support xsubs but The DMF divx format does.
