Blank or Strip

Im using the latest version of VobBlanker and have always selected 'blank' but was wondereing if i should be seleting 'strip'

Is there any reason why blank is better to use?

They are different actions, to get different final products.

Blank is to replace the cells with a tiny blank (actually black) video-only cell. Each cell is 5 sectors size (10 KB). Typically used to delete unwanted material

Strip is to discard some audio/subs streams, keeping the original video, and, supposely, at least one audio. Typically used to free some space removing large audio tracks of unwanted code (i.e. DTS) or languages.

the Strip function isn't removing the IFO code, if I discarded 2 from 3 sound tracks the code for 3 sound tracks is still exist, is there a chance to handle this in future versions ? It is intentional and there is an option.
There are some settops that are not able to manage with the remote audio button to "jump" between disabled tracks, and if VobBlanker disables a track in the middle, you won't be able to access the audios.. In other words, say you have three tracks (0,1 &2 ) and you want to delete track 0 or track 1. Some settops won't give you access to track 2 if you disable one of the previous tracks.

However, if you really want to disable the audio (the most of the settops have no problems), VB is able to disable the stripped tracks. Simply check the option (in More options dialog) called
"Clear audio/subs status when blanking/stripping".
