I have tried searching, and found nothing, and I also read the FAQ for "DVD Rebuilder" - which neglects to even tell you what the program is and what it does....which shouod be FAQ # 1 IMO...anywho...

I have a DVD that I ripped to my HD in "File" mode with DVD Decrypter - it's about 50mins duration. Is there any way of adding chapters to it (nothing too specific - maybe a chapter every 5 mins), then burning it back to disc? Which file to I need to edit to insert chapter points?

Thanks in advance guys.

Note: I did read about a program called "PGCedit", but it seems complex and is only for Linux and Mac.

First of all it can't be done with DVD RB.

The probably easiest way is to do it with DvdReMakePro (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_insert_chapter.php) but it isn't free.

Sorry, this isn't true. Take a look at r0lZ Homepage (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/) and you'll find a windows version of this great program as well.

Yes, PgcEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/index.html) is complex but you can add blank cells to a PGC and assign chapters to them. (See the uninformative help file, written by a real tool.)

You will need to replace those cells with real video (VobBlanker (http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/vobblanker.htm) is best for this).

This thread belongs in IFO/VOB Editors, yes?

I wonder... could perhaps the titleset be demuxed w/PgcDemux, a celltimes.txt file created by hand (list of frames), and then re-muxed w/MuxMan?
