extract aac from a xvid avi file?

Hello!
I want to exctact a part of the audio in a avi file.
Its a aac audio, and xvid video.

I tried to use adobe audition, but it dont find any audio!
And i did download 2 different aac-plugins for audition, but still it dont work!

Is there an easier way to extract aac audio?

You should be able to use the same software that you used to multiplex the audio and video when you originally created the .AVI...

aac-in-avi is a hack introduced by and afaik only supported in avimuxgui. i assume avimuxgui is also the only tool which supports extracting such stream again...
