as I see in the stickies there are quite a few tools to rip dvds under linux. but what happens when a dvd is copy protected, let's say, with Arccos? or arccos doesn't affect linux(stupid question, of course it does)?

If you have to deal with arccos there's no other options than running DVDDecrypter trough Wine, as far as I know.

PgcEdit + Psl2 plugin + DVDDecrypter all run fine together under wine. Tests on Arccos and ripguard protected titles produced successful rips.

nice. if there wasn't such a thing, then it would be a drawback for linux. (i'm not saying that linux isn't good)
