Hello,
in this days i used the 'gliding time-stretch'-tool in CoolEdit for a DVD-project with audio/video - problems.
Now I looking for this stretch-mode in Sony's Vegas 6 too, but i dont find it ?!
Is necessary,to use the 'gliding'-version for a different speed of audio/video-time difference between the beginnig of the movie and the end.
Is this stretch-method of audio-tracks in Sony Vegas 6 implemented or (only) to add as plug-in?
Thanks for any help +
best regards

Go to the audio track, right-click, select "Apply Non-Real-Time Event FX", select "Time Stretch", click "Add", then "OK". In the new emerging window (Take), select the amount in percentage, tempo or time, and "OK". Itīll prompt u to save the stretched file.

Yes, thanks wonderbra,
this is the classic kind of stretching...i know, but i'm looking for the gliding-version.
If i understand Vegas helpfile, then the 'time strech', was implemented in Vegas, can only provide stretching sound file with 'initial time' and 'final time'.
Vegas make the sound file shorter or longer as the original...thats okay so long...but i need a changing of the modification value with the changing the length of the file at the same time.
I try to illustrate:
I have two files, a video-file (m2V) and a MP2-audio-file.
To preview i use a MPEG-cut-program and load M2V and MP2 into this program.
If i play, i see that at the beginning of movie sound and pictures are synchronous, in the middle also, but to the end of movie the sound go ahead for half or full second.
For synchronisize this i need a time-stretch-version, which corrected the speed of sound in the first half of movie less than the second half - and in this second half of movie increasigly.
Can i use the onboard-time-stretch from Vegas for modifiy this?
Thanks for help again

AFAIK, there is no such feature in Vegas (nor there is a plugin i know of, I might be wrong), and the onboard-time-stretch wonīt accomplish what u need.
Sorry it wasnīt helpfull.

Hi wonderbra,
it's okay, don't worry....
I use CoolEdit 2000 for this problem or divide in halves the sound-stream and use the Vegas-onboard-stretching for an half only.
Thanks +
