I am using Auto GK. Just wondering where are temporary files stored when am doing a DVD (from DVD disc), to Divx? For a DVD 4.7GB in size, how much space on my PC/HD do I need free to do a Divx process?

The temporary files will be in the same folder as your source files, in a subfolder called 'agk_tmp'.
For 1 CD you must have at least 2 GB free space.
For 2 CD's (split) you need at least 4 GB free space. You get the 1.4 GB file which will be split in 2 x 700 MB.

Thanks guys, I liked using VideoReDo & MPEG Video MPEG Wizard... but now my 14 days trial for VideoReDo is up and can't continue to use free trail of MPEG Video Wizard.

I am now trying ProjectX to demux, then MPEG2Cutt (German program), then TMPGEnc simple mux to remux them together, and am back to where I used to be. ... fingers crossed

Okay, the initial issue was having lots of mpg files in the same folder, and doing a batch job on them all. I found out that the ak_tmp folder that is used to temporary store the intermediate files is in the same place as the destination file (which they still all are in the same original folder). I got worried about the different jobs overriding each other. But in the end, there is only 1 active job going, and the previous job ak_tmp folder is no longer needed. Plus it's good since you don't run out of disk space since it reuses that ak_tmp folder..
