*edit... Sorry I can't spell*

I recently got a 1 in 15... 16... something they are getting ridiculous now.

Anyways, under My Computer I now have 5 new removable drives. Needless to say it is annoying. I read some where how to make them go away and a drive only appears when you actually insert a card. Of course, now that I actually need the information I can't find it again. I was hoping someone here may know how to do that.

In the mean time I will enjoy *sigh* scouring through the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
FUN TIMES!

Thanks for the help.

i'm not sure, but below process may help .

turn on auto power management / power scheme feature . also for that USB reader/writer device . set "standby" time for a short time period , like 10 minutes . then, devices those are not in use, should be hidden , after that period of time .
