Hello,
On my HD, I have some VOB Files collected from different DVDs.
Each of these VOB Files can be displayed very well by using e.g. WinDVD.
When the specified VOB ends, I have to manually load the next VOB into WinDVD. So, is there a way to create a DVD wich plays all VOBs automaticly ?
No titles, no other stuff, just display all the VOBs in a given order.
please help,
oliver

Thanks for your answers.
I tried DVDAuthorGUI, but when loading a VOB, I got the error message:
"NAV packets are not detected in *.vob. Please demultiplex"
I am afraid of demultiplexing, because of possible synchronisation errors.
So is there no way to use my VOBs directly ?
And what the hell are "NAV packets" ?

for a definition of NAV packets, please see mpucoder's invaluable site:
What is a VOB file? (http://www.mpucoder.com/DVD/vobov.html)

Can't IFOEdit (free) create a set of IFOs for a set of VOBs? That's all he needs is the IFO files. A DVD Authoring program will typically want him to demux to elementary streams and go from there, which a hassle if all you need are IFOs.
You could also stick the original DVD back in your drive (presuming your dog didn't eat it) and rip it correctly to get the IFOs too.

(Since a moderator has responded here, I guess it's okay)
As an alternative to "DVDLab", you might want to try "TMPGEnc DVD Author" which, in my opinion, is simpler to use for this purpose.
You can obtain a FULLY functional free 30 day trial version of this commercial program at:
