Digital chronometer on video

Is there a way to insert a digital chronometer on my video.

I'm recording a video of my car and want to chronometer 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on the video with the format 29.85 sec or something like this.

Try ShowSMPTE and see if it's good enough. If not, you can script something using Subtitle and some math (currentframe/clip.framerate).
