helo all am a noob i got a ??? if i have a fs movie and want to put it into ws all i have to do is set it up as a ws in the option and will it b ok just like if it was a ws i know i might sound stupid but am a noob and dont knwo to much thx in advance 4 yr answerds

it will be ws, yes.. but it does so by chopping off the top and bottom.
THe fullscreen version (usually) is created by chopping the sides off the widescreen, or by pan and scan, focusing on different parts of the widescreen image. You cannot get the lost information back.
so basically you are chopping a chopped source, not always a good idea

yeah unfortunately not much you can do
the fs2ws option is great for old disks that are encoded as fs but with the black bars built in (ws matted into fullscreen)

The time that it is best to use that conversion option is when you have a full-screen source that has black bars at the top and bottom. It's a widescreen original encapsulated in a 4:3 encode (they even do that with 2.35:1 sources sometimes).... The worst thing about those is that if you have a widescreen television -- it puts a tiny picture in the center of your screen with black bars above, below, and to both sides... yuck.
If you set that option on one of those films it will convert it so that it is 16:9 on the disc....
