I was recording a show, and had to restart it in the middle.. I've got one part of the show thats in SD and the other in HD (i.e. different resolutions).. However I'd like to encode them into a single XviD of a predetermined file size. How can I do it?

Btw, I'm using Gordian Knot and XviD 1.1.

You can only join files of the same resolution. So you will have to reencode either of the files to match the resolution of the other and then join them together.
