I use DVD-RB Pro 1.06.1 When backing up my DVD9s I always prefer to run them through DVDReMake first and remove the unwanted video as I want it.

The latest versions of DVDReMake Pro now provide support for removing audio and subtitles.

What I want to know is which will work better with DVD-RB Pro or will either work the same:

1. remove unwanted audio by hiding it; or
2. remove unwanted audio by deleting it

When it comes to video I always hide it so the links don't get broken and it seems to work great with DVD-RB.

Thanks

They should work absolutely the same. In DvdReMake you delete or disable (yeah, sort of "hide") audio/subpicture tracks. Audio/sub streams not used any longer are deleted automatically when you export a disk. So there should be no defirence for RB.

we you can leave the stream, or you can remove it and have rebuilder "remap" it. This can be helpful if your desired track is not track one (for example you removed a default english track, but you are backing up with only the spanish track). However, it can mess up some of the menus, so i prefer to leave it un-remapped
