View Full Version : How do I get around my FAT32 4GB only limit?

I am able to decrypt videos in the 4GB range but Anything over 4GB I get a message saying there is not enough space on the disc. This happening I am not able to full download the movie onto my computer for burning. How do I get around this?

I am very sorry for violating those rules. I am not downloading these movies off of the net as said in my other post. How would I go about upgrading my OS to NTSF? Thanks :-)

Im running Windows XP home Edition (most recent) Its like version 2 I think. It came with my computer and this computer is a 2005 Dell model.

I do not quite understand it. Sorry. I am decrypting these movies from their DvD in IFO mode because I want to transfer them over to my iPod so I can watch these videos on trips. I have Videora iPod converter to transcoe the decrypted movie I just cant get around the no disc space problem.

Read the section titled "To convert a volume to NTFS from the command prompt". Note that this is a one way process, and while the procedure is well tested, I'd still back up all the important files to a separate disk (your iPod, for instance) before doing this. The power may just go out while your drive's being converted...

Might I suggest closing one of these threads, perhaps this one since it no longer relates to decrypting? Now that people are referring to the other thread and still responding to it in this one, it's beyond redundant.
