I have DVD-MPEG4 player Xoro 415 - it plays Nero Digital (not AVC) Max Definition Profile. But i want (if it possible) use MeGui & x.264 to convert DVD to MPEG4. Which profile i need to use or settings - to get playable video on stationar player Xoro415?

Sorry for bad english.

There's no (yet) standalone players, capable of playing mpeg4 part 10 avc(h.264) as far as i know.

Not possible. x264 (it has no '.' in it) only outputs AVC. Maybe you should look into other encoders, like XviD.

Ок, thank you. But i think Nero ASP MaxDefinition do the better picture than Xvid without Qpel, GMC, and some other features (they not supporteg by the player) or not?

XviD will give you better quality than Nero ASP even w/o qpel, gmc and other enhancements.

Even after enabling Recode2's "Extra Quality" (or whatever they call it) options, the codec is still tuned for speed....

If you want to play your encodes in a stand-alone player I recommend you stay well away from GMC ;)

Ok - Xvid is my choice :)

Ok - Xvid is my choice :)Don't generate XviD encodes with GMC either.... If you want to play them in a stand-alone player ;)

...And even better results than x264... at the moment. :)
