my dvdplayer doesnt disply rar'ed subs. how can i disable the use of winrar?
And will agk take that into account when sizing the movie?

Since the subs are already external and relatively insignificant in size in comparison to the video, you should be able to discard them if you don't need them, or just uncheck "Use external subtitles."

nono. i want the subs, just doesnt want them to be rared. well theyre significant enough to make my encodes dont fit the media if i unrar them after encoding.

Now that you know the difference in size after you "unrar" them, can you not simply reduce the size of the encode yourself to compensate?

hm, is that the only way? sounds awkward. doesnt sound like 'Auto gk'. which standalones play rared subs? one should be able to decide if winrar is to be used or not, and if not, movie is sized accordingly.

At the time external subs feature was put in - no standalone could play IDX subs (which is reflected in the warning message), so RAR-ing or not didn't make any difference...
