AAC 5.1 -> SPDIF (convert to AC3 on the fly?)

Hey guys, this has probably been asked but I am wondering if there is a solution for us so we can watch AAC 5.1 audio videos but still maintain our existing SPDIF outputs and get surround sound. Right now, my receiver has no idea what a AAC stream is so all I can get is stereo audio output from my computer.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Install and use FFdshow's filters.
