Hi, I want to cut bits out of a video I made, I have nero 6 but the cutting tool is gray so I can't use it, does anyone know a free program I can use

Do to lip sync isuees, you need to use a combination of Dgindex, Avisynth, to frame serve to Virtualdud(xxx) for editing. Then you need to find a free encoder, not so easy. Go to E-Bay UK and for 19 pounds, get Magix EP-10 Pro which does it all including burning the DVD.

Would you post the needed Freeware for him? I gave him a choice, one low cost program to do it all ten times faster than freeware. It just an option.

Cuttermaran can be used to cut mpeg files at no cost. Also that Ebay search you recommended brings up 0 hits, so it's really no help to him at all.
