Looking for a program that can do Mpeg2 Video, and dual stream ac3 an Mpeg2:

Hey guys. I have a very specific need, and I'm having trouble finding a program that can do it well. I figured since the people here seem to know so much about video conversion and such, that this would be a good place to ask.

I need to be able to convert a video into mpeg2 @ 3.75Mb/s
I need it to create 2 audio streams, all of it muxed together.
The audio streams need to be mpeg2 and ac3

Does anyone know of a peice of software that can do this? Freeware, shareware, or buy, makes no difference to me.

so you need to encode for a max bandwidth of 4 mbps (audio plus video)? satellite or something?

HC can do this pretty well - put it on CQ mode with max bitrate set to 3700, constant quant can be set to anything (it may be a little faster with higher numbers, and quality will barely change except in easy scenes).

as for doing the audio, QuEnc can do both ac3 and mp2. Quenc may be able to handle the video as well, but i'm not sure if the max bitrate wont be exceeded or not (try uncheck VBR, set 1-pass, and max and average bitrate both set to 3700. i haven't tried this).

for muxing, TMPGenc classic's MPEG tools will do this pretty well. i do some very similar encodes for a client and use TMPG to mux, and we haven't had any complaints.
