View Full Version : Illegal operations with 1.06.1

With 1.06.1, I constantly receive illegal operations in DVD-RB which cause the program to abort. I've had it happen when selecting audio remapping, avs filter settings, IDCT settings. It also happens when I click on Build or Prepare depending on 1 or 3 click mode. It also doesn't matter if I have all of the defaults selected and I just load up a movie to encode and hit Build, changing encoders does not help either. I originally thought it might be because I upgraded from 1.06 to 1.06.1 and just overwrote everything (which has always worked in the past). So I installed fresh, I received an illegal operation (in Key-RB.exe) after the key file was retrieved and before DVD-RB would even load after the key was retrieved. I go back to 1.06 and everything works fine, any suggestions? Anyone else having issues with 1.06.1?
BTW, I'm running Windows 2003 SP1.

I have problems too, introduced with 1.06.1 of it just exiting the program when ever I run the prepare phase. It just closes the program about a second of this phase starting.

This only does this on one of my computers. Win2003sp1, athlon xp cpu, nforce2 motherboard

my other system which its runs no problems on - win2003sp1, athlon64 cpu, nforce 4 ultra motherboard

both systems are running fine and have no driver errors or anything that could be causing it.

the only entry i get in the log is

[08:36:52] One Click encoding activated...

Interesting that you're both running Windows2003... I can't imagine what it could be.

Anyone else?

I've PM'd you both with a link. There's only one change I can imagine that might be affected by a different O/S... please let me know if it makes a difference.

Thanks.

Everything's fine here, just upgraded to the latest version yesterday. I did a fresh install after uninstalling the other one.

I'm having the same issues with 1.07, by the way. Whatever you changed for the build you sent in the PM fixed my issues with 1.06.1. I can't believe only 2 of us had issues (or is it just 2 people use 2003 server?).

Yes... only two people had this issue. I've tried something else and will send you a PM.

Had the exact same problems as before. crash on the nforce2 as soon as it enters the prepare stage, fine on the nforce4 (both win2003sp2). Anyway if you read this before your pm's jdobbs, the test file you sent works fine on both

great work jdobbs, :thanks:
