This doesn't quite belong in this section, but this seems to fit better here than in any other part of the forum...
I'm trying to set up an old computer as a video recorder; I have a DVB-T card and can record transport streams (.TS) using WebScheduler. Now the thing is, this is being set up for use by someone who knows very little about computers... so I need an automated process to turn the transport streams into a stand-alone DVD.
WebScheduler can list the files recorded and provides a simple interface which can invoke a (predefined) batch file on a given executable. There are plenty of programs that will demux the .TS file to elementary MPEG 2 audio and video... now I need to set up a batch file that will author a simple DVD using the demuxed streams and burn it. No menus, etc necessary -- the DVD can just start playing the recording. Chapters at fixed intervals (e.g. every five minutes) would be great, but aren't absolutely necessary.
Could anyone recommend a few tools with flexible commandline interfaces to look at? I would be very grateful for any suggestions!
