Downgrade from stereo to mono without reencoding in mp2

Hi there!

I have several mpeg 2 files captured from a analogic video camera, but with audio only on one channel. I demultiplex them in m2v video file & mp2 audio file.


I want to know if it's there a program that took, let's say left channel and copy to the both channel without reencoding. Or, at least to make a mono track.

the mp2 FAQ has listed a program called "besplit", it should if and only if the mp2 you are mentioning is a dual channel mp2, stereo mp2 won't work
