Hi,
I'm looking for DV and DVR-MS samples, does anybody know where to download some?

DV files refers to about 3 (or more) different actually files, DVR-MS is a ms media center thing, but quite a few 3rd party capture apps are supporting it now

You can create your own DV samples by either using a DShow based encoder and the MS DV codec or installing a VfW version (PanasonicDV / Cedocida). Then just feed the encoder with 720x576@25fps or 720x480@29.97fps.

If you need real DV samples (copied from DV devices) in order to analyze stream properties etc. then I can post some (PAL only).

Some 5-10 second samples would be great if there are other variations than that what Windows Movie Maker outputs because I just created a file with that. I just have to try my app StaxRip finds reasonable default values for the most popular av formats.

Here (http://www.stud.uni-goettingen.de/~s304280/D9/DV_Samples/) are some samples shot with a Panasonic miniDV camcorder.
