I'm new to Avisynth - think it is a great programme and well supported forum.

A quick question for the seasoned users:

Any recommendations for suitable plugins & script examples for enhancing 50 year old scratched and dirty 8mm film?

I have tried to find a copy of the Despot (I think that is what it was called) filter, but the download site is not operational.

Do you recommend using Vdubmod filters in conjunction with Avisynth?

I would appreciate any help - thanks,

Richard

Fizick's gone donationware, so if you want his latest, you'll have to fork over some moola. Otherwise, the older ones at warpenterprises work fine.

All I see is the word "Free" It says you can make a donation.

Now I see how it works....
Everytime someone gives a donation, he enables the free download again of one of his plugins.

Current situation: some are available, some not.

So please, people, be generous!
Then soon we have ALL Fizicks fine plugins available for free again, and he has some more room to develop new ones!

Fred.

Hum, just before this post, I downloaded ALL of his plugins as a backup, so thats where I took the position of free. Yes we should all help out when a member is in need.
