h.263 conversion

How do I convert H.263 video for stand-alone DivX player compatibility?
Currently I have the DivX6.1.1 Create Bundle and VirtualdubMod and intended to use that if possible.

I think the solution would be to re-encode it through avisynth (perhaps using the directshowsource() filter)

either way directshowsources does the trick propably

wrong thread i would think.. unless you meant h.264 instead of h.263
