This post is only semi-serious but I just had to ask because of this:
My wife got Back To The Future, trilogy box set, from the local library, but it's in full-screen. My kids watched 1 and 2, I think, then we took it back as I've requested the WS version. My son, who just turned 7, asked "Dad, can you make the fullscreen into widescreen ??". Yeah, he's 7.... :D When he asked, I recalled seeing that option in the advanced settings of DVD-RB and said, "yeah, I might be able to". It's too late now, of course, but it's something to remember in the future.
This function is really an AVISynth thing though, is it not ?? I assume it just crops the picture and reformats it too, right ?? What's the opinion of the quality ??
