Hi

I used DVD shrink to rip a Futurama DVD. I then selected the IFO file that I wanted to use and selected the 1st out of 6 PGC and was: 0:21:42:17. There are six of these files which are around the same length as one Futurama episode (20 mins). I then converted it, and it put all the episodes that were on the disc into one avi file. How do I get one episode at a time? Also, what I don't get is why there are six of these files but only 4 episodes. One or two of them only have 2 English audio tracks. The rest have what the episodes have on the disc, French with it. Please help.

Thanks

JohnyJ

Try DVD Decrypter in IFO mode, which will allow you to rip each episode individually. You'll only need to rename the sub-directory after each episode rip, then you'll have individual files to encode.

If you also play the ripped VOB files before you encode you can check you've complete episodes (I use VideoLAN player (VLC) to do this) such as which 4 are the correct episodes.

As studio's want to fill up DVD9 discs I've seen them put two copies of an episode on (one will be just with audio commentary) to use up the space.
