View Full Version : Problems encoding Nero 6 AAC with BeSweet

This has been puzzling me for a while now. I have tried numerous settings, and all fail. I have BeSweet 1.5b31, BeLight 0.2.2 beta9, and Nero AAC DLLs from Nero 6 Ultra Edition. When I try encoding, BeSweet doesn't like it. I tried with WAVs as the source, and more importantly, AC3s, and all didn't encode with BeSweet.
What, if anything am I doing wrong?

Right, this is my command line, as copied and pasted from BeLight 0.22 beta 9 (broken up for easier viewing):
BeSweet.exe -core( -input "E:\Seven of One\VIDEO_TS\Open All Hours.ac3"
-output "E:\Seven of One\VIDEO_TS\Open All Hours_1.mp4" -noid3 )
-azid( -s stereo ) -bsn( -2ch -cbr 128 -codecquality_high -aacprofile_he )
It doesn't crash or anything, it just says: "Transcoding finished completely" without even writing the file. I tried it with the AC3 decoded to a WAV, and the same thing happened.
Anything I'm missing there?

download dimzon dll (download these from belight page), put in belight folder and use it
you will have something like
BeSweet.exe -core( -input "audio.ac3" -output "audio.mp4" ) -azid( -s stereo -L -3db ) -dimzon( -dllname bse_Nero7WA.dll -2ch -cbr 128 -codecquality_high -aacprofile_he ) -ota( -g max )
with this dll (bse_Nero7WA.dll) you can encode with both nero 6/7 with right channel order (btw now i am using nero 7 dll)
Question : why cbr 128 ? wouldn't be better some vbr preset ?

Cause I want CBR 128. It's my preference. ;)
Thanks. I'll give that a go.
