Why is the newest version only available at this thread http://forum.gleitz.info/showthread.php?t=13202&page=28 ? Is it buggy so I shouldnt use it?

Sorry tebasuna51 , I had not seen it. :)

Aparently, it is encoded.
and it seems to have a "bug".
But you can download it here:

NOTE: Do not forget to add ogg.dll

Notepad:

Warning!
This is an alpha build, so expect a lot of bugs. If you find some, please report them to darkav "at" gmx "dot" net. The bugs need to reproduceable, so I need to know exact steps you took. Your environment (OS version?) is important too. Otherwise I can't fix the bug...
If you never used HeadAC3he before, please try the official release first. Read the docs and then you can start using an alpha version.
From now on HeadAC3he is build in a Linux environment using free tools, like the MinGW cross-compiler suite. All modified dlls will be in the archive. You still need official LAME (lame_enc.dll) and Vorbis dlls (vorbis.dll, vorbisfile.dll, ogg.dll) to get full functionality.

Have fun, and report back!

For me it's OK (don't forget ogg.dll).
Thanks to D.A
