Hi,

Good Work.

But could you please add support for h.264 in TS Streams (Premiere and many other TV channels in Europe (and probably later in USA too) are going to use this format)?

The CoreAVC DS Filter doesn't connect to the Elecard MPEG Demuxer.

The h264 Pin on the Elecard demuxer has the following Types :

Major Type: Video - Sub Type: {8D2D71CB-243F-45E3-B2D8-5FD7967EC09B} - Format: MPEG2Video
Major Type: MPEG2_PES - Sub Type: {8D2D71CB-243F-45E3-B2D8-5FD7967EC09B} - Format: MPEG2Video

The Elecard h.264 decoder filter connects without problems but it's far too slow compared to coreavc.

Are they using interlace mode? It won't be support for a while in CoreAVC.
(other than that it's up to Toff to make dshow filter more compatible)

Hi,

Premiere will use 1080i. But i think they will use progressive frames + flags for interlacing it for 1080i devices.

I can't get MPC to play it :(

'cause it is a .ts stream and recognized as mpeg2 :)

.ts streams will playback in VLC player, but I somehow can't get VLC to play them with perfect quality (someone tell me if they have fixed that yet or something - I will check your video file if it is different).

The best player to watch .ts streams in to date, though, is Nero Showtime. So I suppose it would be in everyone's best interest to have TCPMP be capable of this. There are only 2 progs. I am aware of that can play .ts streams - Showtime and ProgDVB (I think that's it).

I personally would like to see .ts stream support as well.

Thanks,

GhengisKhan

.ts support is not up to coreavc, its up to a parser

what toff can add is support in coreavc for specific .ts parsers, tough i have no idea which one is good (and free)

mpc has built in .ts support...

and funny thing is that via properties you can see that mpc recognizes the avc stream...

Wow.... I can't even get that far...

here is the problem, because of .ts - mpc assumes a mpeg2 stream

install Gabest's Mpeg2 decoder v.0.1.2.0 which does come with the latest Matroska Pack for example and at least you will see a black picture :D
