Hey Guys,
I'm in the process to compressing a HDTV transport stream, and being new and all to DVB, I've been able to demux the transport stream to its video and audio components, but how do i then join the mpv/mpeg and ac3 track to feed into autogk for example?
Thanks!

can it be the solution for my problem descibed in http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=105855 ?

may I store my hd-mpeg2 recordings in a normal mpeg2 PS ? should I leave the settings at their default ? should I change sg if I want to store .dts also ?

is there any other more "advanced" tool ? (with "official" settings for hdmpeg2 files)

You have to manually enter the name of the AC3 in the audio field. It's a bug, but that will work around it :)

Arty - Yes, you can store Mpeg PS files that way. Just make certain your audio and video is synced properly after you mux. I don't know anything about Subtitles, however :( I understand what you want to be able to do; unless someone else comes up with a solution, I would hold on to the original Transport Stream files. Until you find a good solution, just make a very high quality standard def DVD. Author it with DVD creation software like Muxman.

pookie: thank you, I will play with them in the weekend ... I do not want to store the TS files as they do not have the dts track and/or subtitles ...

I will check muxman if it accept hd-mpeg2 files for source to a dvd :)

Arty - It doesn't. Muxman is pretty strict about being DVD compliant.

pookie: I tried mplex.exe, but after it detects the .dts as .ac3/0khz, multiplexing stops :(
bbmpeg = doesn't work either
muxman = :(
ifoedit = :(
projectx = :(
...

doesn't exist any mpeg muxer tool which supports dts too ?
any idea?
