Hi Everyone,

I hope I have this in the right area, sorry if I haven't.

This is only the second problem I have had that I coudn't find an answer somewhere by searching the forum. Thanks to all those helpful people out there.

I have tried to decrypt The Village using DVD Decrypter with Any DVD in the backgroud but keep getting and IO Error as per attachment.

I have tried advice given for other IO Errors but nothing seems to work. I have tried DVD Decrypter, DVDFab Decrypter ( I don't know if there's any difference?), DVD Shrink, Vobblanker and PC Edit but still no success. Could anyone please offer some advice?

Thanks,

Sam

@Sam80
This disc processed fine, for me, with DVDDecrypter, which means DVDFab should have also worked fine. First verify that the disc isn't dirty or scratched. Yes there is a difference in DVDDecrypter and DVDFab. DVDDecrypter isn't being updated anymore, and requires a plugin to deal with the newer ARccOS/Ripguard discs. DVDFab is updated, and can be linked through the DOOM9 Homepage. If its giving you issues, I would have to think, it is most likely a bad disc. If it was recently purchased, I would return to the vendor for a replacement.

Thanks very much for that. It was driving me crazy so at least I can give up on it now.

Cheers,

Sam
