I have two AVI files with AC3 5.1 audio in them. If I open them in Nandub or VirtualDubMod, appending the second file to the first and then extracting the ac3, ac3fix filnds problems with them and after running Headac3 still find problems after that. If I extract the ac3 audio from both files separately and run ac3fix on both it doesn't complain. Never had this issue before, however whatever works. Anyway, is there a way to now merge the two ac3 files together?
Also since I originally wrote this, I have converted both files to 32-bit wav files with HeadAc3 and figured I could merge those. Audio Audition says it's going to take 2 hours just to open one of them and even if I wanted to wait, not sure how to append the second one to it. Both files are over 4GB in size. Not a space concern on my side however GoldWave said it couldn't determine what kind of file it was. Any help?
Thanks.
