how do I delete old Post

is there a way to delete old post

You click edit, then you select "Delete message" under the "Deletion Options" at the top and then hit the "Delete this Message" button.

eric--When this question (and the reply by Lil' Jer) first hit the board, I thought maybe you had a thread running for which you'd received no help and simply wanted to delete it, or something of that nature. I went back through your post history to see if we'd failed you in some way. It seems odd, to me, that you'd use the very information you requested to delete the thread in which you posed the question.

If the first post to a thread is deleted, every post in that thread disappears, too. It's not fair to Lil' Jer to send his help to the rubbish bin; I've made the thread once again visible.

Click on the "FAQ" button in the menubar of this page, then click on "Reading and Posting Messages".
