I have captured .ts files but me and my family needs subtitles ... how should I archive these films ? in the original .ts format with external .srt files? or remux somehow to normal .mpg file ? (how? demux is ok with projectX but re-mux?) and what is the container if I want to add the DTS track from my dvd version? which format has the best chance that my future br/hddvd standalone will play it?
or should I demux them to .ac3, .m2v? is there a way for built in subtitles (like on dvd) ? is there a player which can decode/display the subs?
in media player classic, when I check properties of TS files, I can see that it contains .sup dvd subpicture... how could I display them ? how could I insert my hungarian sups into the .ts?
