Hi, my system has corrupted codecs, the colors are wrong (seems that there is no blue). What can I do to fix this ?

Um... corrupted codecs? It sounds like you have either: Loose monitor cable, driver color controls farged, or perhaps a codec config issue (if you have ffdshow, uncheck every box, especially offset, levels, and overlay). Most codecs don't even have any kind of user color control. Possibly graphics card going out but that's pretty rare.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers and see if that helps at all.

Is yours an nVidia card?

It's probably a driver issue, which has been a common problem with them lately. Update to the newest driver, then after reboot right-click the tray icon and select Color Correction. At the top left under "Apply color changes to," select Overlay, and at the bottom left under "Color mode," select Advanced, then Apply. You won't need to make any other changes, and that should solve your problem.

I uninstalled ffdshow and the described problem with the colors has gone. Thanx to both for your help! :)

well, I'm sorry, but the described color-problem is still there again. I oculd enclose, that when I use my TV-DVB-S-Software and another video-player like 'media player classic' the mpc-video is shown with wrong colors. TV-DVB-S-Video is okay. When switching off TV-DVB-S the color in mpc-video is good! Is that explainable ? How can I solve the problem, that color will be shown correctly in both applications ? I'll try to send some screen-caps (never did that in this forum).

good color: [sorry still no picture]
just wanted to recapture the screen, after deactivated dvb-software and restartet media player classic with the same movie/picture, to show the difference between the colors, but while pasting the captured picture into ms paint (like i did with the bad-color-picture before), the whole desktop is shown, except the picture in media player classic's window, there is just black, how can I show you an example then ? Who can help ?
